We award scholarships to students with documented financial need who are enrolled at accredited U.S. postsecondary institutions. Awards are paid directly to the school for billed tuition, required fees, and university-billed room and board.

To award scholarships to students with documented financial need who are enrolled at accredited U.S. postsecondary institutions, paid directly to those institutions for billed tuition, required fees, and university-billed room and board.
We do not send scholarship checks to students. Unused funds must be returned by the school.
How awards work
Paid to the school
Funds go to the bursar or student-accounts office for billed tuition, required fees, and university-billed housing and meals.
Accredited U.S. schools only
The student must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. postsecondary institution.
No leftover personal payouts
If a balance remains after allowed charges, the school returns unused funds to the charity.
Who may apply
Applicants generally must:
- Show documented financial need
- Be enrolled, or accepted for enrollment, at an accredited U.S. college, university, or other postsecondary institution
- Use any award only for billed tuition, required fees, and university-billed room and board
Board members, officers, substantial contributors, and their families recuse themselves from any award that would create a conflict of interest.
Room and board paid by a charity may be taxable to the student even when the charity pays the school. Students should review current IRS guidance or speak with a tax professional.

Gifts support scholarships paid directly to colleges and universities. Please make checks payable to Direct-to-Campus Scholarship Fund and mail them to the address below, or use the donation link when it is published.
Direct-to-Campus Scholarship Fund is organized as a California nonprofit public benefit corporation. Federal and California tax-exempt status will be noted here after determination letters are received. Keep your receipt for tax records.
